About The Chillingham
As one of the few remaining traditional pubs in Heaton, The Chillingham is invaluable. It’s one of only a handful of venues that focus on offering real ale, with one of the best selections of guest ales in the region.
An imposing landmark with close proximity to Chillingham Road Metro station, it forms a busy meeting place for locals and students. This public house offers good value food, unobtrusive music, and a warm and friendly welcome. At night – and at the weekend – The Chillingham becomes a cornerstone of Heaton’s nightlife, a big screen for matchdays, and a buzzing atmosphere.
The public house provides lively quiz nights and a function room for hire which regularly hosts live music and comedy.
